Hotel Arpoador Inn is the only hotel in Rio overlooking Arpoador Beach, the scenic stretch of sand on the east side of Ipanema Beach. The location could not be more convenient, the guest is within walking distance of all the best of Ipanema, Leblon and Copacabana.

AThere are a little more than 50 rooms, distributed over 6 floors. All units are ensuite, and have front-desk controlled air-conditioning. Standard conveniences include a closet with safety box, a couple of twin beds or a double bed, color TV with cable channels in English, phone, and a small refrigerator. A fold-out bed is provided in the case of triple occupancy. Arpoador Inn has two façades. Deluxe rooms overlook the ocean, with a view to Leblon, Ipanema and Arpoador Beaches. Rua Francisco Bhering, the beach lane, is open for residents and pedestrians only. Open your window at night, and go to sleep to the gentle sound of surf breaking. Do not miss the unforgettable sunset, either! Superior rooms are on the other side of the building, facing Rua Francisco Otaviano. This is the street leading to Copacabana, with a number of restaurants, boutiques, surf shops, and an Internet cafe. Standard rooms are the most reasonably priced alternative, and windows face the inside of the building.

The complimentary buffet breakfast is served until 10:30 at restaurant Azul Marinho on the ground floor. The restaurant is also open for lunch and dinner, with an accent on Brazilian-style seafood.
