Day 1. Campo Grande – Pantanal (236 km)
Arrival in Campo Grande, where assistance, with name board, is waiting for you. Transfer to Caiman Ecological Refuge, situated in the Pantanal. Arrival and check-in. During your stay the followinng tours will be scheduled at the pousada; boattrips on the river, piranha fishing, caiman spotting, bird spotting and trekkings through the surrounding nature. During your stay all meals and excursions are included. Overnight at Caiman Ecological Refuge. (D)
Day 2/3. Pantanal
The trips mentioned above are scheduled at the pousada. The trips will be carefully selected, depending the climate and time of the year and will be guided by local guides that know all about the flora and fauna that make this place unique. During your stay all excursions and meals are included. Overnight at Caiman Ecological Refuge.(B,L,D)
Day 4. Pantanal – Bodoquena - Bonito
After breakfast we leave the Pantanal behind when we head for Bodoquena, where we will visit Boca da Onça Ecotour. Here a safe trail leads you through the jungle about 5.5km (3.1 mi) with magnificient scenes on every step you take. You will see hundred-years-old trees and 12 waterfalls, including the highest of the State of South Mato Grosso, the Cachoeira Boca da Onça (Jaguars mouth waterfall) with a height of 156m (512 ft). There are several stops for a refreshing dip at natural swimming pools with a massage, offered by the waterfalls, which the Indians already enjoyed. Lunch is included and back at the reception you can take a rest or use the swimmingpools with hydro-massage and real typical fish of this region. At the end of the afternoon we continue the trip to Bonito. Arrival and check-in at the Zagaia Eco Resort Hotel. You will have time for a refreshing shower, before dinner is served in the restaurant. Day 5. Bonito
After breakfast, visit to the Gruta do Lago Azul. The trail will start with a 40 minutes walk to the cave, then, after descending 100 meters, you will see the lake with crystal clear water. The depth is 72 meters and in the morning when the sunbeams hit the lake, the water will have an intense blue color. In the afternoon visit to Rio da Prata, lunch will be served here. AFter lunch start of the snorkeling tour. Our dive begins at the East of Olho D água River. The access to there is by an agreeable stroll through the interpretative trail in the Da Prata ciliary rivers forest. In this course you will find the rich flora and if you are a little bit lucky maybe you can see others wild animals as the mutum, the udu, the nail-monkey, the cutia and the queixada. Walks through rustic trails for more than 1.6 mile. Very transparent waters, rich aquatic fauna and flora. Overnight at Zagaia Eco Resort Hotel based on half-board. (B,L,D)
Day 6. Bonito – Campo Grande (278 km)
Depending your domestic flight, transfer to the airport of Campo Grande. Arrival at the airport of Campo Grande in time for your domestic flight. (B)
