Day 1 Campo Grande - Bonito
Arrival at the International Airport of Campo Grande, where assistance, with name board, is waiting. Transfer to Bonito (ca. 3 hrs). Arrival in Bonito and check-in at Pousada Moinho de Vento***. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight. (D)
Day 2 Bonito
After breakfast, visit to the Gruta do Lago Azul. The trail will start with a 5 minutes walk to the cave, then, after descending a trail of 350 meters, you will see the lake with the famous crystal clear water. The depth of approximately 120 meters and in the morning when the sunbeams hit the lake, the water will have an intense blue color. In the afternoon a 30 minutes dive in the Mimosa Cavern. Mimoso Cavern is considered the best worldwide cavern for diving practices. Varieties of espeleotems such: stalactites, stalagmites, curtains and may others to marvel every one. The cone saloon , the point of this journey, have a calcareous formations up to 8 meters high, into a enormous under crystalline water saloon. Depths of dive about 15 to 40 meters down, depending of the training level. At the end of the afternoon back at the pousada. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Pousada Moinho de Vento. (B,L,D)
Day 3 Bonito
Today you will enjoy a 30-minute dive at Lagoa Misteriosa. Lagoa Misteriosa means mysterious lake, and that is precisely what you will encounter when you get there. Prepare to be enchanted by the intense blue waters and the mysteries of the depths below, which remain practically undiscovered still today. Time and again, dive instructors are amused with the shock everyone experiences when they arrive here to this paradise in the middle of the lush Pantanal. Even the most experienced divers and travelers are never prepared for what they find at Lagoa Misteriosa! Imagine yourself, slowly descending to depths beyond 50 meters below the surface, moving weightlessly through soothing waters the color of the most beautiful turquoise and saphires you can imagine, surrounded by rock formations created over (millions) of years. Looking up you can still see the clouds floating across the sky and the rich greens of the forest .... now remember, it is called Lagoa Misteriosa for a reason. Anyone who loves a mystery knows that the best part is the discovery! The Lagoa Misteriosa has been explored by many world-class divers. Day 4 Bonito
After breakfast you will, without any doubt, visit of the most impressing places you will ever visit! Whether you are a diver or not, Abismo guarantees incomparable emotional and visual effects. The excitement begins upon arrival, where the only way down is from a 72 meter cord. The necessary rapelling techniques are learned the day before with specialized instructors, trained to monitor the safety of the operation.
The wonder of Abismo is attributed to the diversity of the formations, both in and out of the water. The surroundings are something of another world, definately different from anything you possibly could have experienced elsewhere. The dive is executed in an immense lake inside of a cavern. For anyone who has avoided cavern dives because of the inability to surface, this is the dive of your dreams! At any time on this dive you have the ability to surface inside the cavern. Day 5 Bonito – Campo Grande
Depending your domestic flight, transfer to the airport of Campo Grande. Arrival at the airport of Campo Grande in time for your domestic flight. (B)
